Music to My Ears

I guess I am a sucker for the Cyrus family because I totally love "Shake It" by the Metro Station, a band which happens to be led by Miley's older brother Trace.

It's probably the cutest pop rock song since "Here" by Hellogoodbye, and with the whole shake motif is reminiscent of early Rooney as well.

This makes me happy since I've been waiting for another group like AAR to come around (since Cute is What We Aim For is taking their sweet time on another album). Hopefully the rest of their album is as consistently good.

It's been quite an awesome year of music as there have been several songs that I really love. And by love, I mean I get giddy when it comes on the radio and blast it at about 50% of full volume.

To name a few:

"Shake It" - Metro Station
"See You Again" - Miley Cyrus
"Flashing Lights" - Kanye West
"Love in this Club" - Usher
"Superstar" - Lupe Fiasco
"Take a Bow" - Rihanna
"Buzzin'" - Shwayze feat. Cisco Adler

And it's only April!

Note: Picked up Marie Digby's album at her concert at the Troubadour last night. Good stufffffffffff...
